Responsibilities during the above teaching positions included:
- Planned and presented lessons in math, integrated language arts and social studies that incorporated the use of computer technology
- Created curriculum materials that reflect a student-centered approach with many hands on activities
- Taught math and bridged the concrete to the abstract through the use of manipulatives and computer activities
- Helped organize class project for Read Across America
- Practiced effective classroom management techniques to promote student achievement Attended parent conferences and IEP meetings
